Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026. These terms are between you and HSPay.
Who can use HSPay
HSPay is for businesses registered in India that collect instalments from their own customers. To collect, your business must complete KYC and be approved by our team. You must be authorised to act for the business you register.
Your account
You sign in with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep your phone and any API secrets safe; actions taken with your sign-in or keys are treated as yours. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access.
Mandates and your customers
You may ask a customer to approve a mandate only for an amount and schedule they have agreed to with you. You are responsible for your sale or loan, for the customer's consent, and for following the laws that apply to your business and to collections.
Fees and the wallet
Fees are taken from your prepaid wallet as described in your plan. The wallet holds money only for paying HSPay fees; it earns no interest and cannot be used to pay anyone else. Taxes are added or included as shown on your statement.
When we may pause your account
We may pause or close an account if KYC information turns out to be wrong, if we are required to by a bank, network or authority, or if we see misuse such as mandates without customer consent. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Limits
We work hard to keep the service running, but banks and payment networks are outside our control. To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before it.
Changes and law
We will tell you before these terms change in a way that affects you. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at the city of our registered office have jurisdiction.
